A holiday to Norfolk Island is very safe. As part of Norfolk Island’s COVID free policy we offer many safeguards to help prevent the spread of the virus. All common areas have complimentary hand sanitizer, special and rigorous cleaning protocols have been put in place which include free pump pack hand soaps and sanitised surfaces. Some bus tours will require a mask whist riding on the bus but other than that most restrictions have been lifted excluding social distancing. Norfolk Island is a fresh clean welcoming environment that did not experience one single COVID 19 case and we are all striving to ensure it stays that way through awareness and education of tourists and locals alike.

You must complete an online Norfolk Island Entry Pass which needs to be completed 72 – 24 hours prior to travel date
If you have been in a COVID-19 Hotspot in the previous 14 days you will not be permitted to travel to Norfolk Island;
If you are denied entry as a result of your Norfolk Island Entry Pass you will not be permitted to travel.
If you arrive on Norfolk Island and then develop COVID-19 type symptoms you will be required to quarantine and undergo testing as determined by NIHRACS (local hospital). Should a positive swab test be returned, you will be required to immediately isolate on the island at an approved location until advised that isolation is no longer required by NIHRACS. Accommodation and food during this time will be at your expense;
If you travel with another person who develops symptoms you may also be requested to isolate and be tested. Accommodation and food during this time will be at your expense.
